Make Google Chrome iOS default browser

Love your new Google Chrome browser? Here is how you can set it as the default. First off you. Need to be jail broken. If you need help jail breaking email me or check my blog on jail breaking.

In cydia you are going to want to do a search for 'Browser Changer'



Is pretty easy. Once installed choose your default browser in the setting app.

For those who want iOS 6 today

If you are a fanatic like me then you want to play with iOS now. I found something that will pacify us for a day. It will also piss you off because its not the real iOS 6 it's just a theme. You must have winter board installed.



So you get the appearance of iOS 6 but not the functionality. So here you are for free, iOS 6. Enjoy.

AirPlay HBO GO on Apple Tv (The Simple Way)

For those of you that have an iOS device (i.e. iPad, iPod Touch, or iPad) that also use the HBO GO app have noticed that you can NOT stream HBO GO via AirPlay to your HDTv.

HBO displays a message on screen that sites the inability for HD output. Really what they are doing is restricting you from going house to house with the HBO channel at the ready. You paid for it so you should be able to use it.

Here is what you will need to WIRELESSLY stream HBO GO to your AppleTv:


1) A JailBroken iOS Device (I recommend an iPad due to better resolution when blowing up to the size of a TV screen)

2) DisplayOut (Download this package from Cydia it's $2.99 but worth every penny.






3) HBO GO (you probably already have it)




After you install the DisplayOut hack from Cydia you are ready to go. Just launch the HBO GO app and mirror from your device and DisplayOut takes care of the rest. 
Not necessary to configure by if you want to adjust the settings of DisplayOut just go to the native iOS settings app. Now you can watch HBO GO on your Apple Tv.
